LYSINE

We can supply two kinds of lysine: Lysine HCl and lysine sulfate

Lysine is one of the amino acids, known as the building blocks of proteins. Because the body can’t manufacture lysine, it’s considered an essential amino acid and must be acquired through diet.  Lysine is the second limiting aminoacid for poultry. In broiler chicken nutrition, there is a direct link between the daily lysine intake and the development of certain muscles such as breasts. Therefore, adjusting dietary lysine content enhances the value of meat cuts in case of further processing. The need for dietary lysine is greater for breast meat yield than for growth rate.
